I so enjoyed painting this view!
it is a vibrant and contemporary interpretation of the outgoing tide. Inspired by many visits to the Isles of Scilly in Cornwall, but, it can truly be anywhere you would like it to be.

Bright Day was painted on location on the outskirts of Blackburn. As the title says it was a beautiful bright day. You can see from the lack of foliage on the leaves and the autumnal tones in the field that winter was just beginning.
I met some lovely people that day, who were so encouraging. I even got brought a flask of my favourite drink. Lol. you've guessed it, TEA!
